Heads up retailers, this is what good customer service is all about.
Josh Greene writes on Shop.org about how a retailer told a customer to keep an item or donate it to charity instead of returning it to them. A customer had bought a pair of children’s shoes in the wrong size and wanted to make an exchange, so the retailer sent them a new pair and told them to keep the old one as well. How much would the retailer have made anyway by getting the pair of shoes back, paying for shipping, restocking etc. It’s just not worth it, right? But most retailers don’t look at it this way.
Now, if I can just find out which retailer it was!
