One of my favorite cartoon sites bLaugh.com seems to have completely dissappeared. The page now opens to a geeks social networking site. It’s been very slow on the site for absolutely ages, no new posts, no new cartoons etc, but I was rather hopeful that they would be back quickly, since they were so good and so many people loved them. Oh well, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen now. Too bad!

Have you heard the latest trend in exercising? With the economy being so down, a lot of people are having to give up their gym memberships and are switching to sharing machines such as elliptical, treadmills and training bikes with a group of people. It seems kind of like a time-sharing system of sorts or part-ownership system of sorts, where everyone pools in to buy a product and everyone owns it as well. Not really sure how fast and how big this trend will become, but it certainly has the potential to become popular in densely populated areas such as New York City, where lots of people have ease access to a common location.

Another shot from my vacation!
This one was at a resort called Birds Lagoon Village resort near Thattekkad (not to be confused with Thekkady) and just outside the Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary. I loved this place, it is amazingly beautiful and serene, a place to spend a couple of days without a problem, a place to sit and dream, a place to refresh. If you get a chance to go to Kerala, don’t miss it. It’s an amazingly beautiful place!

Post Christmas each year, everyone is trying to lose their holiday weight and searches for sites such as Fenphedra increase significantly. The cycle has been repeating itself for a good number of years and marketers and companies make the full use of the way consumers act. That really is what marketing is all about, understanding the consumer and predicting what they want, where they want it and how they’re going to buy it. It’s really as simple as that!

The winter is superb short in this part of the world, but when it gets cold, it really does feel so cold. Well, compared to temperatures in the other parts of the world, it feels funny to say it’s cold here, but the wind is icy and blows right through you. Or at least it feels like it does! The houses are built to take the heat of the summer and have super high ceilings so using room heaters are no help at all. The best way is to layer ones clothing and spend time outdoors in the sun, which is still warm.

The cool thing about the web is that no matter where you live, just as long as you have an internet connection and a computer, you are able to find anything in the world. In a sense be at par with everyone else! I spend a lot of time researching things for my writings, so have become pretty good at it. So if you ask me to find some good motorcycle accident lawyers Los Angeles, then I can guarantee you that I can. It’s all a question of searching the right way, using the right key words and on the right sites, and voila, you will have the answer you are looking for!

It seems that I just cannot get enough of traveling. I really should try and work for a travel magazine or TV show, so they can fund some of my travels at least! Our last trip to Kerala was fabulous…it really is God’s Own Country, as their mantra states. December, is of course, the perfect time to head down there, since the weather is great, everything is lush and green…well, I think that is the case all year round! Here’s a shot from a place outside of Thekkady called Cardamom Club where we stayed a couple of nights. A wonderful place where I will definitely be going back.

Coming back from a vacation to work, work and more work is depressing stuff. We decided on our next vacation when we were on the last one itself, so it really is time to fix the next vacation, so I can start the countdown again! One area that I’ve really wanted to visit are the Outer Banks, which are said to be really beautiful. I like going to places where I can walk, explore the area and get a feel of it. Visiting shops and malls is not my thing….especially since one finds the usual brands everywhere one goes. I believe there are some really nice and charming cruises to take from this area as well, which is a wonderful way to take all of it in. Sometimes, one plans such a busy trip, that one can barely take all of the information and sights in. Our last one was quite hectic, so the next one should be slow and mellow, I think!

I love watching the sun create patterns. I took this shot at the newly opened Dubai Mall. Since Dubai is such a touristy city, one doesn’t really stand out when one is taking photographs, whether they are in a mall or the street. It is however hard to get different types of shots, since there are so many photographers in the city. I try to look for unusual things and hope I don’t attract too much attention in taking the photo. Enjoy the sun!

As much as I love wearing watches all the time, I’m quite hesitant when it comes to buying new ones. I seem to get too attached to the old ones to let go of them, and as long as they are working I hold on to them. Recently, I came across these Fendi watches and since then have been rethinking my entire watch strategy, that maybe I need to let go of the old ones and go in for something new, something different. And Fendi certainly seems like a fun brand to start with, I thought! Well, I haven’t gone out and bought one just yet, but it certainly has been very tempting.
