While the general market for books is declining, books for children have seen increases in the recent past. Yes, Harry Potter has played a huge, huge role in bringing the interest back to reading.
I became a member of our local library when I was 5 and can’t imagine not reading. It’s the one thing that can make everything possible, open up your mind to innumerable possibilities and opportunities.
