To rent or to buy?
We’re going to be moving again soon and are seriously thinking of buying our own place this time, since the rental costs are quite high and pretty close to loan payments anyway. We thought we would do the same thing when we moved here but somehow never managed to either find the right property or a good financial company to guide us through. So we delayed our plan, even though we would have put a lot of money towards a loan by now, if we had taken it.
Taking a mortgage for the first time is not an easy task, but if you have a good agent or company backing you, it makes it so much easier. When our neighbors in Bristol, Sam and Claudia bought a house they were lucky to be recommended by a friend to an agency that smoothed the way for them, giving them all the details they needed to know, plus a lot of extra advice as well on remortgages and other financial advice such as mortgage protection. With their glowing report, we were eager to get started owning our own home as well, but never found just the right property. Here’s to having better luck next time!
