The other day when I was at the supermarket browsing through the cosmetics and health and beauty section, I found myself drawn to the conversation of a couple of young girls who were shopping for skin care stuff. They had loaded their cart with a variety of bottles and lotions covering everything from getting rid of blackheads to increasing hair shine. They giggled incessantly about their selection and seemed to be quite thrilled to be buying half the department. Maybe they were having an all girls sleep-over party and were going to have fun with experimenting with all this stuff, I thought. The odd thing was, that they didn’t seem to need any of the remedies found in this section, as they themselves had perfect hair and skin!
