I find it an interesting view of our society that it is now possible to take personal loans to take vacations. It seems like quite a luxury to me, but apparently it’s quite a popular option that the average consumer is taking up on. Once taking a loan was a huge deal, but now even getting a secured loan approved is as simple as taking money out of an ATM it seems. I really think that the rules for getting loans should be stricter, not for those who have valid reasons, but for those who want to take loans for not as serious reasons. That again is a highly debatable subject, as who is the right person to decide what is an OK reason to take a loan or not. It’s all based on perspective. Some of the best loans available these days are to be found online, but before taking a loan, it is important that you get a neutral perspective as well, especially one from someone who is well versed in the entire process and the repercussions.

Have you ever wondered how things in one’s life sometimes just fall into place? At one point, I would never have bothered about things like life insurance, but now when I see an advertisement for it, I immediately read and and if it’s worthwhile, I call them up to get further details. I’ve got to finalize it and then I’ll be set. As one grows up, one never even bothers about things like this. I remember not having health insurance in college and I did just fine. Yes, I did fall ill once in a while, but it was ok, not too expensive to visit the campus health care center and sort it all out. But now it’s not so simple. I want to have the whole works.

The rush to lose weight is a dangerous thing. Most people have no patience at all and want to lose as much weight as possible as soon as they can. While in some instances, it is alright to do such a thing, at other times, especially if you have a medical history of heart problem then you really should consult with a doctor first to see if it’s all right. It is also possible to lose weight using new systems that are safer for people with medical conditions. Overall, as medical science has progressed, we have seen so many new products such as human growth hormone that push you to be your best, to feel better and look younger. Instead of the more dangerous injections, this is a much safer way to increase these “happiness” hormones.

Sometimes, just a single bloom can make all the difference.
It’s not just about this bloom of bougainvillea, but about our little bloom, called Elisha, who is 4 and a half months old now. She is such a joy and our lives are changed thanks to her. I love watching her blossom and change every single day. It is one of life’s most beautiful and fulfilling moments. The simpler they are, the better and more prophetic.

Nothing worse than getting that gadget that you’ve been dreaming of and then having it get stuck on day two of the warranty getting over, isn’t it? I make sure that I get a good warranty package when ever I buy an electronic item. I’ve found that getting an extended warranty is often a good idea, since products seem to have a problem or two after a year usually, which is when the normal warranty runs out. Some products seem to almost have a timer, that is aligned to the expiry of the service warranty, so if you are investing in some tech item such as an iPhone then get yourself some iphone warranty that will make it worth your while. I for one have learnt my lesson the hard way.

The whole point of having an internet connection is to be able to be connected, not just in touch with the rest of the world, but to know what is going on elsewhere. Say that you’re looking for a site called http://www.acnebody.org, it’s the simplest thing in the world to do, to go online and enter the address, and voila, you have all the information you need. At one time, the internet was good to us only for the fact that we could connect and email our friends and family, but now it’s so much more than that. It’s changed the way we live and the way we work for time immemorial.

Well, I wrote earlier about how I should write more consumer oriented reviews etc, since I do tend to focus on retail, marketing and consumer related aspects here. Everyone wants to read the review of a product before they go purchase it, so product review sites are popular places. I visit them often as well, to check out something or the other, so say you’re looking for some lipofuze reviews then you know where to go. When making a decision on purchasing an item based on it’s reviews, it’s important to get the full picture, so don’t just read one or two reviews, take some time and see both sides of the picture.

Ok, there are some things that should be off topic on the blog world, don’t you think? There are topics that one wants to read about, and then there are other topics that would make me click out of the page faster than, well, you get the point! I’m not one to write about animals of the amazon jungle or testosterone levels and so on, although I have written about some medical stuff, it’s usually more on the lines of diet related subjects which people seem to ask me about. To come to think of it, since this is a consumer related blog, I really should be writing more about these topics. Let’s see!

Now here’s a service that we all should know about, a trend that has risen significantly in the past decade or so. Air ambulance services were not all that common earlier, or were only for the ultra rich and famous, but now these services can be used by a much wider circle of consumers. Now there are a host of companies that provides medivac ambulance services and air evac flights that are fully staffed with medical professionals and the latest equipment. Most companies function on a global level to cater to their international clientele and usualy provide 24 hour emergency and non-emergency services.
