Gadgets and gizmos are what spies are all about, right? Any spy usually has an arsenal of tools and tricks to get him or her out of any tricky situations, that too without getting too unnerved by it. If I were a spy, I would try to pack in as many gadgets I possibly could in every mission; it would just be so exciting to use my hidden tricks to confound the enemy. The one thing that I would definitely have to have would be a trick watch, that could be turned into a phone, a camera, a radar and of course a bomb!
Being a spy means not revealing one’s identity and I would invest in some of the really cool prosthetic pieces and wigs to completely change my look for each of my missions. CIA Operative Michael Weston who stars Burn Notice will have to get out of a sticky situation himself often enough, and I can’t wait to see all his tricks.

Here’s another good idea for some last minute shopping, how about some cigars? They’re always a hit with those who like to have a smoke aren’t they? I’m never sure if they are too extravagant or not but they always seem to be a popular item for gifting, especially those highly sought after ones. Stocking stuffer gifts should always be something quirky and somewhat of a surprise twist, but still cigars are a popular option here as well. So, all in all, they seem to be good gifts for a variety of reasons!

The time for gifting is almost here….so have you completed your shopping? Usually, the hardest ones to shop for are men. I mean, how many ties and scarves can one buy. I think it’s best to stick to the basics when it comes to shopping for men’s clothing and stay true to the person’s style for whom you are buying the gift. Don’t try something radically new or trendy since it’s really not going to make a good gift at all. I think, it’s also a good idea to build on the person’s existing wardrobe, so if he wears mostly earthy colors then stick to the general color palette since that’s going to be more appealing. By following these simple rules, shopping for men is going to be a much simpler and more fun event with definitely better results.

If you spend a lot of time on a computer, then backing up your data is one of the most important things you need to do. It’s surprisingly simple to do actually, so you needn’t worry about getting involved with something that will go over your head. There are many online backup service providers who will ensure that all your data is backed up so you don’t need to worry about it at all. With free encrypted online backups for usually up to 2GB of storage and unlimited storage for a nominal monthly amount, these services are extremely user-friendly and cost effective.

After the endless amount of time it took to get batteries for the speaker, this time around we’re thinking of getting some conventional home speakers as an alternative and move our current one into the study. Music is such a wonderful thing to include in one’s daily life and little E really responds so well to music that we thought it’s important enough to pay more attention to it. I’m still looking to see which will suit us best, but it’s seems to be the smart way to go.

These days everything seems to either be going touch screen or touch free. Yesterday I saw an advertisement for touch free soap dispensers for the home and I wonder how far will hand dryers be for the home bathroom as well. All the new commercial and retail buildings have all the latest equipment and it’s almost all touch-less. Only the doors of the stalls still need to be touched to be opened and soon they might be touch free as well. I wonder if that might cause some confusion or not!

When it comes to electronics, just when one thinks one is done shopping for a while, one finds something else that one must have. What we’ve been thinking of lately is a set of wireless headphones so that we can listen to music or watch TV at any volume without disturbing our little daughter. Watching TV once she sleeps is sometimes a tricky event, since I don’t want to take any chances of her waking up. Most nights she is already in deep sleep to be bothered with our TV, even though it’s in the next room, but waking her up would just be mean, right. The other option would be to have the subtitles on, which is fine for some shows, but not for all, of course.

With the way most of us live and work these days, it is more important than ever before to have a great health care system that will ensure that you don’t fall sick and when you do takes care of you as well. There are several such systems that offer personalized health care also known as concierge medical care, and specialize in preventive health care rather than reactive as is the case with most health care systems. Having established this format, companies can now focus on providing superior health care and ensures that doctors take on a limited number of patients so that they are completely focused on them, rather than rushing through to get to the next patient.

I love to write letters and to make it personal I really like to use my own set of rubber stamps. Getting some custom rubber stamps is not as big a deal as many would think. Just pick a design, order it and voila, you have your own personal design. For small businesses, it’s a really good way to publicize your products in a cost effective manner. On my last trip home, I got some lovely patterns of rubber stamps made, but I’m still to use them. They will look really good as a letter head or even work as a card itself, if I find myself out of blank cards and need one pronto. Having a few extra rubber stamps, whether for fun or for business is never a bad idea.
