When I think of boats and rafts, I’m reminded of college days when we used to head out to the lake at every opportunity we got. Sometimes it was jet skis, sometimes it was rafts, and at other times it was an old fashioned power boat. What a lot of people don’t understand is that there are definite differences between rafts which are powered by rowing, ie. human power, and boats, which are powered by small engines. It’s not a catch all phrase that includes everything and anything. For people who are into boats, there is no here or there, it is all about the boats and nothing else at all.
Boats, ships, inflatable rafts, canoes, jet skis all have a fascination factor for most people. The feeling is best conveyed by the famous quote by Robert N. Rose, “Ships are the nearest things to dreams that hands have ever made.” It’s often an unexplainable feeling, something that touches the heart, maybe something like what a mother feels for her child, or maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration! But then who knows a boat better than it’s owner…or a parent by another name!
When it comes to all the technical stuff, boat owners know that for all the technical stuff they have to stick with the expert marine professionals such as getting the right tender ribs (rigid inflatable boat), which have grown in size as have the size of boats. One hears horror stories of those who tried to cut corners and go to an unknown source, so it’s always best to stick to the tried and tested route and go for a company specializing in Yacht Tender management, that either you have tried before or someone you know has tried. It’s the only way. And anyway, if you’re a boat owner, then you needn’t bother cutting corners, right! It’s an expensive proposition to begin with, so do your homework and budget for it all before you buy. Just like you need to check out the marine forecast, before planning a trip, you need to contact a professional firm for equipping your boat with tender ribs.

When it comes to retail and retailers, a lot of things have changed and yet nothing has changed at all. It actually all coming down to the perspective. So, from where I stand, things have changed a lot. In my neighborhood alone, we’ve got several small retailers who have adapted very enthusiastically to new things and have changed the way they do business. This has led to an increase in their customers and an increase in sales as well, although they have spent on putting all these changes in place. Everything from store displays, inventory management systems, signage, point of sale displays, order systems, it’s all new to them, but by going for the changes, they have carved a place in this new community. On the other hand, one of the most recent entrants, is a small shop nearby that refuses to even take credit cards or do deliveries for small amounts, which is going to make it hard for them to survive. We ordered a few items from them on the weekend, and they took about 4 hours to deliver, which is quite a bad way to start off. Just by instituing a few changes in the way they function, they can increase their customers twofold. It’s all about making small changes that lead to big results.

Who doesn’t want to live in Florida! The very word conjures up the easy life, beaches, parties and so on doesn’t it? One of the most popular places to live in the state is the east coast of Florida, the Orlando area. Orlando it turns out has something for everyone. Kids love it for all the theme parks, women love it for all the shopping, men love it for all the amazing sporting activities, from golf to fishing, and of course there is a huge convention industry, which brings in thousands of visitors for conventions and seminars. Living in the sun is still a hot trend!
Tourism is a huge industry in the Orlando area, which creates a fun atmosphere for residents as well. The cafe’s and restaurants are always buzzing, there are always sales and specials on offer making it a fun place to be. And who doesn’t want to live in a fun and happening city! I just couldn’t resist looking at some Florida houses for sale that Kolter Homes has on offer to see if I can picture our family there, living the vacation kind of life one imagines it to be. Buying a house isn’t necessarily the cheapest thing these days, but at least it’s not as expensive as it was a few years back. There’s a bit of a consolation in that, isn’t there! So even though buying a house is a huge investment, it really could be the best time to make that investment, since the prices aren’t at their peak and will definitely be on the upswing soon.
One of the most important things you can do when searching to buy a house is to understand and research the area, so look up Florida Information online and see all the technical details about the state. Florida has a large number of master planned communities, and living in one of them is the ultimate goal for a number of home buyers in the state. Most of these developments such as the ones by Kolter Homes have custom-built homes, so that they fit your lifestyle and way of life perfectly.

For anyone who has lost online data, backing up data is serious business and not to be taken casually at all. I lost about a month’s worth of work last year and since then make sure that I have back ups of my work. Losing photographs is no easier, especially since one usually deletes them as soon as one downloads them onto the computer. I’ve written about online backup services earlier as well, since it is absolutely essential to be serious about it. Some of the newer innovations in online backups have enhancements on earlier services that allow you to create and manage multiple accounts online. Most companies offer basic accounts for free, where you can usually store up to 2GB of data in a secure environment. Most companies offer backup files to be encrypted on your PC and can be restored easily.

Writing is now a passion and once it becomes a passion it can often overtake all else. If one can make one’s passion one’s work then there is nothing like that. For me, writing has been my work for several years now and it’s been the best sort of work ever possible. As a freelancer, I come across so many writing institutes that offer diplomas and writing skills that one gets a bit inured to them and their offerings. So when I came across the American Writers & Artists Inc. I was a bit skeptical too and thought is AWAI a Scam, but it turns out it’s one of the rare places that actually stick to their words and offer all that they say.
Once I read through the reviews and recommendations, I found that AWAI has helped a lot of people realize their dream to write for a living. It really isn’t the easiest thing in the world, as often people from the outside think it is, and so one has to have the right qualifications and certifications, so be able do get the good jobs, write convincingly and memorably. There are many companies who follow a business practice that is not conducive to a good working environment.
Just the fact that if someone can help you attain your dream of writing for a living, then it’s something to rave about. Most companies seem to very vague on the details of the how, what, when, where, but out here everything seems very straightforward and direct, so that’s a great start at least. The thing is that when writing is your work and your passion, then you have to find a good place to grow, so that you can learn how to improve your work and increase your earnings. With an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, AWAI is a sound business venture, so whether you want to learn to be a travel writer or a copywriter or a content writer, this is the place to make that change. With a wide range of writing programs and courses, you will be able to learn everything from resume writing to writing sales pitches from the comfort of your home.

They never gets old do they, certain movies, certain books, certain songs that stay young forever and make you feel young as well. It’s almost like magic they way they work their charm. I’ve been thinking about all this since this weekend, we’ve been all retro. Quite unintentionally, but it just happened that we ended up seeing Grease and Sholay and listening to music like Duran Duran and Scorpions. Took us right back to when we first saw and heard these bands. It really ended up being a completely retro weekend after all!

Been thinking of making some changes around the house since it’s been a while since we’ve had this arrangement. One of the things that I’ve wanted to change is the setup of the TV. I think it’s time to move it to the other room, since it’s turning out to be too much of a distraction for our little girl. The problem is that in our room, there is a full wall of windows where I’d like to put the TV, so I’m thinking that I’ll have to use one of these omnimount systems that fit onto the wall, and free up the space below. It’s not only a good way to free up the space, but also keep things out of reach for our little one, so will fit in both ways.

The past few days, I’ve really wasted a lot of time on the internet searching for some decor books to buy. I have always loved collecting these books, but several years back stopped buying them, since I felt they just got outdated to soon. But that’s where I was wrong. If you pick the right ones, if you know your style, then they really never go out of style. So, that’s really the key. Anyway, I found a bunch of really great books and saved them on my wishlist, but the one that I couldn’t resist buying right away as a book on holiday cottages. Wow, I wanted to live in their pages, to recline on some Adirondack chairs, taking in the view, sipping something cool in my tinkling glass. That’s the life! That’s what summer vacations are all about.
I’ve always loved the simple style of cottages, a little bit rustic, a little rough, a little basic, but oh so memorable. Having traditional things around me makes a room really stand out and so for a cottage in the Adirondacks, having traditional chairs would be a no-brainer. It’s all about letting go of the things that control us in the city, in our daily lives. It’s so important to sometimes, just let things be as they were, 30, 40, 50 years back.

As hot and humid it has been getting here, all I can do is to dream of going somewhere cool. Actually, cold is more like it. I would love to escape to a snowy spot in the Alps. Ah what fun, to mess with ski’s and snowmobile goggles instead of chilled cucumber towelettes to battle the humidity with. It’s been ages since we lived in a cold country, or a country that had a cold winter. I remember when we last did, we had a bumper winter, full of snow, full of winter storms and full of the drama associated with stocking up one’s pantry to enjoy the storm from inside one’s home, baking rugelach, drinking hot chocolate and then going out to play in the snow. Our old neighbors had a snowmobile and boy it was fun to go for a ride along with their kids. It was like being a kid oneself!
