Motorhome vacations

As more and more people change the kind of vacations they take, there has been an increase in rentals of RVs and motorhomes in the US. Along with their increase, so has the need for motorhome insurance increased and a greater number of vacationers are trying out different ways to take vacations. It’s always good to experiment and make changes, or one can often get stuck in a rut, not that one needs a recession as a reminder to make changes, one should make them ourselves. But as vacations go, while the industry has been impacted, things are slowly looking up again.

searching for medical problems online

I was looking through a site that displays popular searches as a measure to gauge trends, and one of the surprising ones was for treatments for Mesothelioma amongst searches for pop singers and movie stars. It seems that people are relying more and more on the internet for information that they would usually have asked their doctor. But as physicians and nurses are so swamped with work and patients, most are quite happy with this change. The problem is that the average person is not going to be able to understand half of what they read about medical problems, so in the end might just compound the problem.

on different kind of searches

All sorts of searches will bring you to this blog, but some of the most interesting ones involve weight loss and diet pill reviews, for which people seem to come to my blog in droves. I’m not really sure why, but I suppose I have written about these pills and the advertisements for them in magazines a few times. I am always amazed at the number of ads for them in the back of fashion and celebrity magazines, almost as if they all use such things to look good. Not many celebrities endorse pills of any kind, so the connection is purely made on the part of the readers who vicariously put things together, thinking that they will benefit from such things as well.

how much will baby boomers be affected?

With the number of baby boomers who are aging rising constantly, the need for a variety of medical and support services is on the rise. Things like disposable diapers, stairway chair lifts, sit down showers and so on are becoming widely used amongst them and gaining popularity. It remains to be seen how this industry will be affected by the recession though, since most baby boomers who have retired have a limited and fixed source of income, so spending on anything extra will automatically be cut out. It will also be interesting to note, how many baby boomers will put off retirement to prolong their earning power.

a new thought on sharing an exercise machine

Have you heard the latest trend in exercising? With the economy being so down, a lot of people are having to give up their gym memberships and are switching to sharing machines such as elliptical, treadmills and training bikes with a group of people. It seems kind of like a time-sharing system of sorts or part-ownership system of sorts, where everyone pools in to buy a product and everyone owns it as well. Not really sure how fast and how big this trend will become, but it certainly has the potential to become popular in densely populated areas such as New York City, where lots of people have ease access to a common location.

losing the weight

Post Christmas each year, everyone is trying to lose their holiday weight and searches for sites such as Fenphedra increase significantly. The cycle has been repeating itself for a good number of years and marketers and companies make the full use of the way consumers act. That really is what marketing is all about, understanding the consumer and predicting what they want, where they want it and how they’re going to buy it. It’s really as simple as that!

capping the winter

Winter time is always interesting, right…for the nice cozy clothes if nothing else. I just bought a lovely sweater in charcoal gray and I now want one of those cute little beanies. Wearing a warm hat or cap is such a great way to feel all wintry and of course beat the cold as well. While it’s not really freezing cold here, early in the mornings and late at night it can get pretty chilly. There’s also a huge windchill factor here, with the winds coming down from Siberia, so a cap is a great idea for the winter.

Finding a job online

When a good friend of mine was moving to Austin some time back, she needed to find a job that she could start once she moved there and went online to Austin resumes to find a job for herself. She was successful and within a week had got a great offer, which she eventually took up a month after moving to town. Using online job sites is a great way to save on travel costs, to reduce the stress and worry about how to go about the hunt in a new city, a new environment, and mostly to have things sorted out, so once you settle in, you’re all set. Literally! If you’re going to be moving and have to look for a new job at your new destination, then remember to start this process off a month before you move.

looking for info on fat burner

I’ve been seeing lots of ads lately for a product called fat burner, which is apparently really good at reducing your weight. I have no plans of trying it out, since I don’t need to lose weight, but am quite intrigued by how it works and would love to get the opinion of someone who has tried it out. Anyone out there willing to share their experience with me? It might interest you to know that I am finding this out for an article that I will be writing about this subject and I really do want to include this very popular technique of weight loss in it as well.

Is the blog party still on?

I don’t blog half as much as I used to earlier, mostly due to my concentrating on my freelance work. In the past I usually had some dedicated blogging time, but I have had to cut down on that, since I’ve been giving priority to assignments that I get for work. A lot of people think of blogging as work too, but I try to keep it fun and light, else it’s not much of a relaxer is it?

Interestingly, the crescendo of blogging seems to be quietening down a bit lately. The buzz about it is a lot less, the number of new blogs being started per day has also come down and the ones being abandoned is going up as it always has been. So, is the blog party all over? Or is it going to come back in a new form? It will definitely be interesting to watch.
